BUILDING THE NEXT GENERATION OF CONSTRUCTION-INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS!
The CSI Suncoast Chapter annually awards our $1,000 Future Trade Professionals Scholarships to students registered in a construction-related trade program. The 2 scholarships ($1,000 each) will be for students attending Suncoast Technical College or Manatee Technical College.
Funds from these scholarships can be used toward tuition, books, materials, and fees associated with the recipient’s chosen area of study. Checks are sent directly to the recipient's school and credited to their account.
These scholarships are funded from the proceeds of our CSI Suncoast Annual Golf Tournament. Recipients are selected based on a number of criteria, in both the online application and personal interview. Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, color, creed, religion, gender, disability, or ethnic origin.
Applications must be submitted by July 30th, 2025.

Step 2: Interview
If you are selected as a Finalist, you'll then enjoy a relaxed conversation with our Board about your application and career plans.
StEp 3: Notification
Winners will receive notification by of the award decisions, and
be invited (along with guests)
to an awards celebration.

Not only will this scholarship provide a financial contribution to the winner but also assist in their professional development by providing a Student Board Member position with the Suncoast Chapter.
National
Programs
The position will provide the student with extensive industry experience, networking and employment opportunities, additional scholarship opportunities through our National Institute, and advanced certifications while they work in their career.
Industry
Events
The Chapter hosts fun and educational events,
from CEU/Networking events and jobsite tours to cornhole tournaments and the annual Golf Fundraiser for our scholarship program.
Scholarship Program Requirements
In order to be considered for the Future Trade Professional Scholarship, applicants must meet the minimum criteria and agree to all stipulations/components/requirements of the award:

Enrollment in a construction-related trade program at either Suncoast Technical College or Manatee Technical College.

Submission of a completed application, including personal information/statements, copy of registration form, recommendation letter, acknowledgement, and signature.

Upon notification of being named a finalist, applicants will be required to meet the Chapter Board for a brief personal interview to discuss their application, goals, and answer any questions they may have.

Participation in small awards ceremony for the winners and their guests and acceptance of the Student Board Member position with CSI Suncoast Chapter.
